The studio is one room and reads as one room: king bed, lounge area and kitchenette, all against bold monochrome walls. The kitchenette handles real cooking, with a two-burner cooktop, a toaster and full cookware. A Smart TV with Roku, a coffee machine and a mini fridge sit within reach of the bed. The colour is deliberate. It is a 1920s building and we let it be a loud one.
Laundry is on site, which is what a long stay actually needs. The Raines Law Room is on the ground floor for cocktails and small bites. Wifi runs fast. The Culture Curators know what is worth seeing this week and can get you into it.
A quiet, residential property. No smoking, no pets, no events. The building went up in the 1920s and has not been smoothed out since. There's no gym and no restaurant beyond the Raines Law Room downstairs, which is the honest trade for space and character in a neighbourhood of large business hotels.
